Ingredients:
9 lasagna noodles
1 lb ground beef
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup BBQ sauce
1 large onion, diced
1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the Noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with diced onion until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in BBQ sauce, diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Layer the Lasagna: In a greased baking dish, layer 3 lasagna noodles, half of the beef mixture, half the bacon, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Repeat layers, ending with a final layer of noodles.
Top & Bake: Sprinkle the top with remaining cheese and bacon. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, removing foil for the last 10 minutes to allow the cheese to melt and turn golden.
Garnish & Serve: Let cool for 10 minutes, then garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving!
