Crab Salad (Seafood Salad)

Ingredients:
– 1 pound imitation crab meat (krab meat)
– 1 minced shallot
– 1/2 cup minced celery
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Ingredients:
– In a mixing bowl, add the 1 pound of imitation crab meat. If it’s in chunks, break it up into smaller pieces with a fork.
– Add the minced shallot and minced celery to the bowl.

2. Mix the Salad:
– Pour in the 1/2 cup of mayonnaise. Gently fold the ingredients together until everything is well combined. Be careful not to break up the crab meat too much.

3. Season to Taste:
– You can add salt and pepper to taste. If you like, you can also add a squeeze of lemon juice or some chopped fresh herbs like dill or parsley for extra flavor.

4. Chill:
– Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate the crab salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

5. Serve:
– Serve the crab salad chilled. It can be enjoyed on its own, in a sandwich, or on a bed of lettuce.
