Step-by-Step Recipe: One-Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Pasta
Ingredients
-
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz pasta (e.g., penne, fusilli, or farfalle)
- 3 tbsp butter
-
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef or chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
-
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
-
- Cook the Beef: In a large pot or deep skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease and set the beef aside.
-
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the Pasta and Broth: Stir in the uncooked pasta and broth, making sure the pasta is submerged. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- Add the Cream and Cheese: Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Return the cooked beef to the pot and stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce is creamy and heated through.
- Season & Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
